How AI Assured complements statutory regimes
AI Assured is a governance maturity certification. It tells buyers, insurers and boards that you operate AI responsibly. It does not issue accredited ISO/IEC 42001 certificates, EU AI Act conformity assessments, FCA SS1/23 attestations, FDA SaMD clearances or NYC Local Law 144 bias-audit reports, and we will never claim that it does.
What AI Assured certifies
AI Assured certifies your governance framework, policies, roles and training; the evidence pack and audit trail behind your AI controls; an independent, signed scorecard your buyers can verify; and a public, queryable badge with revocation history.
What AI Assured does not do
AI Assured does not issue statutory conformity assessments or FDA clearances, sign FCA attestations or NYC LL144 bias-audit reports, provide regulated legal advice, or replace any notified body, regulator or independent auditor.

The mapping covers EU AI Act high-risk conformity assessment under Annex III, FCA SS1/23 model risk management, FDA Software-as-a-Medical-Device, EU MDR and IVDR, MHRA medical device software, NYC Local Law 144 automated employment decision tools, EEOC AI-in-hiring guidance, OSFI E-23, SEC predictive-analytics and CFPB credit-decision guidance, the EU Digital Services Act and the Ofcom Online Safety Act.
