Independent assurance for companies who use AI responsibly
AI Assured is a third-party assurance standard for small to medium sized companies that build or use AI. It gives buyers, insurers and boards a consistent way to judge whether a supplier governs its AI systems properly, without requiring the time and cost of a full accredited certification programme.
What the Mark means
Every AI Assured badge resolves to a live, time-stamped trust certificate on the public register. Professional and Enterprise certificates are signed by a credentialed assessor. Essential is verified by system logic and signed by a senior officer of the certified company. If a certificate lapses or is revoked, every embedded badge updates automatically, so the mark can never outlive the assurance behind it.
Who assesses
AI Assured assessors hold recognised AI governance credentials such as IAPP AIGP and ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Auditor, and bring board-level experience across financial services, healthcare and regulated technology. Every Professional and Enterprise certificate is independently signed off.
